AND an extra book, by the same author, helpfully called &#8220;Make your Own Inukshuk&#8221;. <\/p>\n<p>And, well, also a book called &#8220;Timepieces&#8221;, on clockwork and the history of cog and gear motion improvement. But that&#8217;s another story.<\/p>\n<p>Anyhow, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.frommers.com\/destinations\/toronto\/S24574.html\">Science City<\/a> is awesome and I could seriously spend my whole paycheque there. They just happened to have put the two inukshuk books &#8211; in hardcover &#8211; on sale as a packaged set for $9.99! Love. <\/p>\n<p>And they had about a billion other things in there I wanted to take home with me too&#8230; an Edward Gorey&#8217;s &#8216;Gashlycrumb Tinies&#8217; calendar, a $10 inflatable globe, a $100 shadowboxed set of freeze-dried black desert scorpions with Latin labelling, chemistry glassware, anatomy posters, scaled human skeletons, dinosaur models, an $8 set of Mucha-print playing cards&#8230; the list of goodies is endless.<\/p>\n<p>Heaven save me when I have children and there is a &#8220;legitimate&#8221; excuse for me to go shopping for things like an &#8216;Excavate Your Own Archaeology Dig Site&#8217; playset.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Update on the inukshuk front: I have my book!
