My ‘beef’ with episode four:<\/b><\/p>\n
WARNING! Spoilers Ahead<\/strong> My ‘elseworlds’ proposal for episode five:<\/b><\/p>\n Sandy and Kirsten’s marriage is under pressure from the strain of Sandy’s jealousy; and Julie is considering a divorce from Jimmy. Since S&K are on a roll with taking in needy strays, and the moral of the story arc so far seems to be “no man is an island”, I propose another adoption of sorts. <\/p>\n Clearly, Julie and Jimmy should separate, and Kirsten should take Jimmy as a second husband. Polyandry is the obvious solution! Sandy could assert his position as Alpha Male, Jimmy could finally abandon the harsh and bothersome yoke of work and be kept by a woman like he’s always wanted, and Kirsten could have two husbands to run errands and satisfy her various other needs. <\/p>\n They could move the show to Salt Lake City, change its name to ‘The S.L.C.’, and start a redemptive video game commune! Are you with me? <\/p>\n Think of the ratings spike when the threesome sex starts up! It’s ideal, except that Sandy would be miserable in Utah – no more surfing.<\/p>\n After re-reading the comments I just wrote about ‘The O.C.’, I’ve come to the conclusion that I am a sick, sick woman. \nWhy the hell did the dudes from the S.E.C. talk to *Sandy* about Kirsten’s loan to Jimmy, before talking to her about it? WTF? Was he supposed to go home and spank her? Talk to her first, it’s her money. Don’t go talking to her husband about her financial affairs behind her back. What is she, chattel<\/i>? She could buy and sell all your asses and not blink an eyelash. Show some respect. Jerks.<\/p>\n
