\nVery tired. Wasn’t out too<\/i> late last night, but had a *lovely* time meeting and , who were delightful as advertised. Plotting on how I can leave them a goodbye\/come back soon gift this morning at the Snail… <\/p>\n

Am rather excited at the prospect of having more friends around at the San Diego ComicCon this summer (if I actually buckle down and book myself a room and a plane ticket). I mean, friends besides Chip and Ben and Kagan and Cameron, who will all be ‘working’. Began the campaign to get to come along as well, but I think it will require some time and extensive persuasion, possibly involving threats and beatings. Maybe, if I can get Cleio on board… But, should Dao and I both be there, we could ooh and aah and snicker knowingly at girls with Rogue streaks in their hair. And I’ll rest better knowing that there’s yet another guy in my realm of acquaintance who likes giant robots and monkeys with jet packs. <\/p>\n

Speaking of – was there briefly with B-rad, but they had to bail before the evening really warmed up due to the siren call of the sacred man-ritual that is the Jack Bauer Power Hour<\/a>. Indeed, the handsome geek boys were out in force, with later post\/pre-work appearances by and . <\/p>\n

Looking pretty and not at all tomato-esque (as she has lately been self-describing) was . She got rowdy, causing a ruckus with her new Vegas keychain. Props to her for avoiding the siren call of the sacred woman-ritual that is Strongbow. Except, of course, for that ‘accidental’ sip from my pint. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

Also? Unbelievably beat me at pool. That wench! Well, technically I beat myself at pool, since I sewered on the eight ball, but still. I demand a rematch, Lickety! You hear me? A rematch! <\/p>\n
