I’m *still* at work. I realize that for many of you, little pity will be forthcoming for someone who usually gets off work at 3pm, but please appreciate that I have been here since 6:30am, I will likely be here for another half-hour AT LEAST, and I have almost no evenings to myself.<\/p>\n
Also, I’m supposed to meet my good friend Marc Saurette for dinner, and I’m going to be late – I haven’t seen him in at least six months, and we’ve got tons of catching up to do before he moves to live with his girlfriend in Victoria, BC at the end of April.<\/p>\n
This is all part of a continued lack of communication on the part of my team leader, who REFUSES to acknowledge that I am no longer doing my old job, that someone else has held the position for over a month, and that she is fully competent so not every part of my old job has to be done by me. I am already doing another, completely new and more challenging job. Also? I AM NOT THE MANAGER HERE. It is not my position to be delegating work to the Clerk, that is my team leader’s job. I can help her out, instruct her, whatever, but he needs to establish deadlines and keep her informed of requests that are passed on verbally to HIM, NOT ME.<\/p>\n
