Instead of being here at work, unfocussed, sick, with 5 days to Christmas, I could be:
\n– learning how to bake delicious pies and cookies
\n– paiting Iron Chef-themed tiles to adorn cupboards in the kitchen
\n– cleaning, wood filling, and priming said kitchen cupboards
\n– writing amusing and catchy dialogue for my mermaid comic
\n– reading Evelyn Waugh and Graham Greene in prep for school
\n– reading Tennyson, Browning, etc. for my other class next semester
\n– sleeping off my unfortunate bout of illness
\n– after returning to good health, visiting my Dad
\n– having coffee with friends
\n– playing solitaire (or Bejeweled)
\n– shopping for late Christmas\/birthday gifts
\n– dusting the shelves at home
\n– flying to Istanbul to see the Hagia Sofia
\n– cutting cloth for a quilt
\n– watching Northern Exposure on DVD
\n– making stop-motion films with my Buffy toys in compromising poses
\n– giving JVL a back massage
\n– soaking in a hot bath
\n– breathing in a yoga pose<\/p>\n
