Sunday Morning Run

Started 8:30am. Ran fourteen kilometers, long slow distance at 7:14 min/km, completed 1hr 43mins. Beautiful sunny cold weather, started on Lakeshore, ran past Oakville Town Centre, then my old grade school on Sixth Line and old high school on McCraney. Felt fantastic after about 11km.

Off to take Dad his lunch. Hope you all survived St. Patty’s with minimal hangover damage.

In Honour of St. Patty’s

Since most people don’t read LJ over the weekend, two quick notes in anticipation of tomorrow’s Irish Revelry:

1) Mostly will be excited about this. Limited Edition Guinness marmite!

2) Sent to me by but far, far too funny for me not to share with y’all. Behold, the crazy hilarity of ‘Bring the gold’. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but it’s funnier than the fake, Korean leprechauns who mug unsuspecting joggers in the park in Aqua Teen Hunger Force. By a factor of TWELVE.

Happy St. Patty’s Day tomorrow, everyone! Don’t drink and drive or drunk dial or do anything else stupid. Just drink.
