My Thursday in Pictures

This entry is a little late, and not what it should be, but I am in a rush to leave the house and meet to go see Neil Gaiman.

Last Thursday I woke up terribly sick.

I left the house to go to work, and went to do some photo-journalism at the Public Sector Quality Fair. While I was chatting with the gentlemen at the OPP booth, they attired me in ceramic riot armor and loaned me an assault rifle. It looked like this:

Then, I went to Designer Fabric Depot on my lunchhour. I was totally overwhelmed by the selection, but made it out alive with two yards of cotton over my shoulder. En route, I met Todd’s coworker (see previous entry for details). Then I went to a speech writing course.

After work, I toddled over to my friend Alastair’s house. We went out for my graduation dinner at Susur on King St. The food was met with mixed reviews. I will try to elaborate later. I have a lot to say about the lobster courses, and it’s not good.

Here is what Alastair looked like after the meal, with the evil red glow of Susur’s restaurant sign in the background:

After growing increasingly more sick (I am now at “totally sick”, but still refuse to confine myself to bed, despite almost dying on the way home from the farmer’s market this morning) I walked up Spadina to catch the subway home. I saw some good sticker-graffiti by Lepos. Here is what that looked like:

I arrived back in Weston, was picked up at the bus stop by , downed a gigantic dose of NyQuil, and went to sleep.

On Friday, I called in sick to work and slept all day.

The end.

  1. …that you’re wearing a pink shirt and cute little pink hat as you hold the assault rifle. Bwah.
